A Significant Contribution to Support Goose Creek CISD Education
An established Baytown entrepreneur, Jeanne Shipp is active with the Texas Association of Freestanding Emergency Centers. Drawing on her background as a registered nurse, Jeanne Shipp focuses on quality, community-centered care at independent health clinics across the Houston area. She is also active in support of the local educational community.
In 2018, as Patients ER’s founding partner, Ms. Shipp provided a check for $15,000 to the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD) Education Foundation. This contribution went to support a school district in the Houston suburbs that spans 15 elementary schools, five junior high schools, and three high schools.
A core mission at GCCISD is “Developing the Whole Child.” This involves fully integrating aspects of learning that span students’ social, intellectual, and emotional wellbeing. With this emphasis on personal growth and innovative learning techniques, students have been able to attain consistent academic success.
Ms. Shipp’s contribution to GCCISD as an MVP Sponsor was part of fundraising efforts associated with the All-Star Gala. The 2018 event took place at Minute Maid Park and included the participation of local KHOU celebrities.
